La Belleza Designs brought ethnic Indian designs and handwork into a modern form giving fashion a new dimension. We realized that traditional Indian art and crafts are vanishing fast and the skills were becoming difficult to find. We believe this is not because of lack of interest in the hand crafted articles but non availability of the art in modern and usable form. Moreover, the need of modern times demands better finishing and improved quality than what is traditionally available. La Belleza Designs encourages artisans to retain their skills, be it in traditional weaving, embroidering, dyeing, painting or beadwork.
